How to Use
How to Use
Use Apexol Suspension Cleanser as directed by your provider. This formulation is designed for external use only and should be stored in a cool, dry, and dark place.
Use a thin layer of the prescription cleanser on the face, specifically the acne-affected area(s), and build a full lather. Rinse it off shortly after, and pat dry.
Wash your hands before applying the cleanser to ensure a clean and smooth application. Wash your hands directly after use as well. Avoid the eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes, and try not to use the cleanser on areas that are exposed, cracked, open, or raw.
Tell your provider immediately if you experience an allergic reaction (some signs include skin irritation, redness, peeling, burning, swelling, rashes), if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, if you have diabetes, if you are getting surgery, or if you are suffering from other skin conditions (e.g., atopic dermatitis) while using your prescription.

Apexol Suspension Cleanser offers a distinct combination of two active ingredients commonly prescribed to target acne. These active ingredients include:
- Salicylic acid is a chemical agent that works to exfoliate, keep the pores clear, break down dead skin cells, and reduce swelling and redness to mitigate the severity of existing acne and prevent the formation of new acne spots. It is often used to treat seborrheic dermatitis, acne, psoriasis, keratosis pilaris, acanthosis nigricans, ichthyosis, warts, and more.This particular cleanser contains salicylic acid at a potency of 2%.
- Sulfacetamide sodium is a topical antibacterial ingredient that works to treat acne by stopping or slowing the growth of bacteria that leads to breakouts, unclogging pores, and removing dead skin cellsThis particular cleanser contains sulfacetamide sodium at a potency of 8%.
This cleanser medication is also unique because of its combination of these two active ingredients, an offering not available in branded and generic washes.
